Canadian Moderators Glenn Trachsel Glenn has been president of the Waterloo Regional Apartment Management Association (WRAMA) for the past three years. He has owned and managed residential and commercial rental property since 1984. It is his opinion that owning any size rental property is a business, needs to be treated like a business and owners need to be educated and stay informed. He also believes that although at times it can be challenging, it can be very rewarding. Glenn currently sells real estate in the Waterloo Region and owns and manages a portfolio of small multi-unit buildings. In addition to those responsibilities, he has also been on the Board of the Federation of Rental Housing Providers of Ontario (FRPO) for many years (over 10 years). He is currently the chair of FRPO's Regional Committee. Arun is also the Chair of the Halton Housing Advisory Committee (set up by the Region of Halton to advise Halton Regional Council). Arun has owned and managed apartment buildings in Burlington and Hamilton for over 20 years and previously had experience with rental properties in London, England.
