It has 550 members who own and/or manage anything from one condo to multiple unit buildings, or are a service provider. Started in 1971 to fight rent controls, its main role today is to support FRPO on province wide issues and educate WRAMA members on issues such as legislation changes, insurance, new products, tenant issues etc. There is an informative newsletter members receive and monthly meetings you can attend. It was first established to address landlord and property managerÕs issues with the City of Hamilton and over the years has broadened its scope to include issues such as rent control.
